Awana

Awana helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. Our programs offer a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community.

AWANA's goal is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. We meet Wednesday Evenings from August - May at 6:15 – 8:00 p.m.

Our Programs

Cubbies (3 & 4 year olds)

(Must be 3 by November 1 and potty trained)

The AWANA Cubbie program is designed to teach young children the gospel of Christ. This is done through Scripture memorization, games, puppets, crafts, story time and awards. AWANA uses Bible-centered handbooks to give your child a firm foundation in Christ.

Sparks (Kindergarten – 2nd Grade)

The AWANA Sparkies program combines learning and fun to teach children about the truths of Jesus. We use Scripture memorization, worship, small group time, Bible-based lessons, the AWANA game circle and awards to achieve these goals. As the children work through their handbooks they are learning verses which cover salvation and who Jesus is.

TNT (3rd Grade – 6th Grade)

The AWANA T&T program is designed to train our children to be the church leaders of tomorrow. We use Scripture memorization, worship, evangelism and discipleship, small group time, the AWANA game circle and awards. This program takes children on the Ultimate Adventure through the Bible, teaching them life long lessons.

LIT (7th Grade – 12th Grade)

The Leader In Training program is for students in grades 7 – 12 who have grown up in the Awana program. This program is designed to help students learn to serve under the guidance of the Awana Club Directors. They continue to work in their handbooks, do service projects, and help the younger clubbers learn their verses.
LITs meet at 5:30 to work in their handbooks and then report to their assigned club at 6:15 for the start of Awana.
